WONDERS
The
sun shines outside,
It
shines inside this room.
It
grows the flowers,
And
lights the harvest moon.
The
sun shines always,
That’s
what it’s meant to do.
It
gives me daylight.
It
does the same for you.
The
sun is what we’re part of,
Like
leaves upon a tree.
Oh,
what wonders this great world can be.
The
air is all around us.
It
touches me and you.
It
lifts the bird’s wings, to fly the air of blue.
The
air turns windmills,
And
moves the ships at sea.
And
though it’s all around us,
The
air we cannot see.
The
air is what we’re part of,
Like
leaves upon a tree.
Oh,
what wonders this great world can be.
The
earth is underneath our feet,
Spinning
round and round.
Every
day it’s here for us,
To
walk on solid ground.
The
Earth is where we live,
Where
we can be found.
It’s
such a good place to build
Our
streets and towns.
The
Earth is what we’re part of,
Like
leaves upon a tree.
Oh,
what wonders this great world can be.
The
sea moves swiftly,
Along
the earthen shore.
Fills
the valleys to become the ocean floor.
The
sea holds creatures unlike you and me.
And
still we’re haunted
By
the calling of the sea.
The
sea is what we’re part of,
Like
leaves upon a tree.
Oh,
what wonders this great world can be.
Sun,
Air, Earth and Sea.
Oh,
what wonders this great world can be.
