When this record began in
February of 1995, my wife, Kasha, was pregnant with our daughter, Shelby Layne.
Tonight, a year and a half later, I write liner notes for the completed project,
and glance at my proud smiling daughter, running wobbly-legged across the living
room. It's late, way past her bed time.
Contained in the soul of this
CD is each moment of the past eighteen months, all the changes, struggles, and
revelations. Through it, my life has changed and my music has taken on a deeper
meaning. People once unknown to me are now part of my life. My wife, Kasha, has
been an integral part of this experience. She has always been there for me,
supported me with her love, and put up with my frequent disagreeable moods.
