"Eclectic Treehouse"
is the long overdue follow up to "Velvet Hand". It began as
archive recordings of instrumentals. Some of the compositions were not intended
to be performed
live, and so were recorded to preserve them. That process began a few years ago.
I began seeing this collection of instrumentals as a 12 song CD after I began
experimenting with DADGAD tuning.
This interesting tuning opened new creative
directions and gave me the inspiration to complete Eclectic Treehouse.
The songs
composed in DADGAD are; Contemplation, Crosstown Trolley, Song for Kathleen, Who
Let The Cat Out? and Baja.
